MUSIC & GIVING

Within this program, suite holders donate their seats for select shows at Moody Center. Good Moods Project pairs the donated suite with an ATX based nonprofit organization, prioritizing children, affinity-based groups, and/or charities that focus on the initiative’s three pillars of empowering local musicianship, addressing housing insecurity, and helping to build pathways for the next generation of music industry professionals.

NONPROFIT ARTIST GIFTING & ACTIVATIONS

Austin Arena Company often partners with organizations that are important to artists to highlight at their shows. See below for a few examples of cause driven groups we have worked with in the past.

  • AUSTIN PETS ALIVE!

Knowing Hayley Williams love for her dog Alf, Austin Arena Company donated to Austin Pets Alive! on behalf of Paramore’s performance in Austin. The local nonprofit, dedicated to saving pets in the Central Texas area, also curated a backstage “Sweet Paws” puppy room for the crew and band to enjoy before the show

  • EVERYTOWN FOR GUN SAFETY

In honor of Harry Styles’ historic 6 night residency, Austin Arena Company distributed Everytown For Gun Safety shirts to all fans who attended his final show in Austin. The entity also donated $100,000 to the cause, which aims to make communities safer by ending gun violence.

  • HEADCOUNT

Headcount is a nonpartisan organization that uses the power of music to register voters and promote participation in democracy. You can find Headcount running voter registration drives on the Dell Technologies Plaza before several of the venue’s events.

  • SHORT N' SWEET STOP

Taking a nod to Sabrina Carpenter’s hit song “Espresso,” a coffee stand was hosted prior to her concert benefitting our organization. Supporting our cause was Short N’ Sweet with $1 from every coffee purchased going towards our mission.

OUTDOOR STAGE

Before select shows at Moody Center, Good Moods Project will have local musicians perform on the outdoor stage on the Dell Technologies Plaza. With over 15,000 attendees entering the arena for each event, these musicians gain mass exposure to a new audience and the opportunity to open for the world’s most popular touring artists.

See below for information on the great Austin based musicians we have featured so far.
